Josh Hader Locks Down Save Sunday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader struck out two batters on nine pitches to secure a 2-1 lead and a save on Sunday against the Cardinals. Hader now has back to back saves in his last two appearances and sits at 10 on the season. The Brewers have had a few different relievers get chances at saves since Corey Knebel lost his job, but it's really a two man race between Hader and Jeremy Jeffress, both of which are having insanely good years. Although Jeffress did give up a run in Sunday's game and has only recorded one save in the last month, Hader only has three in that span. As of now, they are both worth owning in Roto or categories leagues where saves are scare, considering the amazing ratios they provide even with saves, but aren't useful in a weekly points league.
