1 year agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson (calf) was transferred Thursday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list. The 37-year-old was diagnosed with a high-grade right calf strain. He is slashing .142/.225/.434 with 10 home runs, 15 RBI, and 13 games over 34 games in 2023. Donaldson is eligible to return in September but could miss the remainder of the season. Oswald Peraza should see an uptick in at-bats and see the bulk of his playing time at third base. Since being recalled on July 16, Peraza is hitting .200 (2-for-10) with an RBI and two stolen bases over three games. The 23-year-old is worth adding in deep-league formats due to his elite speed.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
