Josh Allen Signs Rookie Deal
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen signed his four-year rookie deal on Wednesday. Financial terms of the deal aren't disclosed, but the deal will also include the standard fifth-year team option. Allen was the third quarterback selected in the draft at No. 7 overall and has a big arm and big future in the NFL, although his mediocre collegiate career has raised concerns. Allen will compete with A.J. McCarron, but it's expected that he'll be third on the depth chart behind McCarron and Nathan Peterman when the season begins. It won't be a surprise to see Allen play early in his rookie year, but he's a much better pick in dynasty/keeper formats than in redraft leagues.
