Jose Urquidy Throws 3 2/3 Scoreless Innings In Rehab Start
4 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Jose Urquidy (shoulder) had a solid outing in his rehab start at Double-A on Wednesday. He pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out three. There's speculation that this rehab start is all he'll need before joining the rotation again. He has a chance to make his next start with the Astros during their series against the Boston Red Sox, which begins on Monday. Urquidy was placed on the injured list on May 13 due to shoulder discomfort. He was 3-2 with a 3.22 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over eight starts before the injury.
