Jose Ramirez Reaches Twice, Steals A Base
1 year agoCleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a single, a walk, and a stolen base in a 2-1 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Offense was at a premium in this one as starters Gavin Williams and Brady Singer were both locked in. Ramirez was able to reach twice and swipe his seventh base of the season but his teammates weren't able to drive him in. J-Ram has quietly been tearing it up over the last 15 contests, slashing .377/.443/.639 with 23 hits and three home runs over that span. On the year, the 30-year-old owns a .294/.360/.512 batting line with 12 home runs, 46 RBI, and seven stolen bases across 293 at-bats.
