5 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Jose Berrios (finger) was removed from Saturday's start in the eighth inning due to a blister on his right ring finger. Berrios allowed a single and a walk to start the eighth inning before he was relieved by Taylor Rogers, who allowed both runners to score. All in all it was a solid start for Berrios, who allowed five hits, three walks and two earned runs over seven innings with three strikeouts. Hopefully the injury won't cost Berrios any time going forward, but make sure to stay tuned. His next scheduled start is a road game against the White Sox on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
