6 years agoFresh off his well-deserved All-Star nod, Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jose Berrios did what an ace is expected to do on Monday: shut down an opposing team. Berrios pitched seven innings of one-run ball, striking out eight Royals and walking none. That said, his ninth win wasn’t assured, as it seemed like his offense was going to let him down until late in the game when they finally broke their scoring lapse to win, 3-1. Berrios successfully bounced back from a couple of tough losses and should be started on all formats going forward. He will get the Tampa Bay Rays next.--Mauricio Castillo
