Jorge Soler Reaches Base Four Times On Monday
3 years agoKansas City Royals designated hitter Jorge Soler had one of his best offensive games of the year against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. Soler went 3-four-4 with a double, a walk and an RBI in the game. It was just his second multi-hit game since May 11. Soler has had a dreadful year overall, but has shown some slight signs of hope lately. Over 10 games this month, Soler is slashing .250/.400/.500 with two home runs, two doubles, four RBI and six runs. What is most promising, however, is that he has only five strikeouts this month, compared to six walks. Fantasy managers in need of a power boost off waivers should keep an eye on Soler over the coming weeks.
