3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler will sit Thursday's game against the Yankees. He will take a seat while catcher Salvador Perez (head) handles designated hitter duties on Thursday. The 29-year-old has struggled mightily this season as his numbers are down all across the board. Soler is slashing .183/.283/.329 with six home runs, 28 RBI, and 21 runs scored across 254 plate appearances in 2021.
