Jordy Nelson Would Consider Return To Green Bay
6 years agoRetired wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who spent 10 years with the Green Bay Packers, said he would consider coming out of retirement if the Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers asked him to come back. Nelson had 550 catches for 7,848 yards and 69 touchdowns with Rodgers from 2008 to 2017. He also hd four 1,000-yard seasons with the Packers while earning Pro Bowl honors in 2014 on the way to a Super Bowl title. Nelson will be 34 in May and Green Bay already has Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison and Equanimeous St. Brown at wideout. It's also unclear if Nelson would just sign a one-day contract with the team to retire with them.
