5 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Jordy Mercer (quadriceps) is receiving treatment for his injury, but the Tigers think the soreness he's experiencing is from scar tissue breaking up. The team is hopeful he can return from the injured list on Monday. In 63 at-bats for the Tigers before his injury, Mercer had 13 hits (.206) with a homer and three RBI.
