Jordan Yamamoto Placed On Injured List
5 years agoThe Miami Marlins placed starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto (forearm) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a right forearm strain and recalled pitcher Robert Dugger from Triple-A New Orleans in a corresponding move. Dugger will start against the Reds on Thursday. Yamamoto, who posted a 4.87 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 69 K's in 68 1/3 innings over his first 13 starts in the majors, could wind up missing the rest of the season. Dugger allowed six earned runs (two homers) in five innings in his lone start this year for the Fish and wasn't very impressive in the minors, so he'll be a poor streaming candidate on Thursday against Cincy.
