Jordan Westburg Up To 14 Homers In Triple-A
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Jordan Westburg went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and an additional run scored on Tuesday for the Norfolk Tides. Westburg is slashing .316/.388/.610 with 14 homers and five stolen bases across 209 plate appearances in Triple-A. The 24-year-old has also proven himself to be very consistent through the first two months of the season. He has hit over .300 in April and May with at least five home runs and 20 RBI. Westburg's production in Triple-A shows he does has a little to prove. The Orioles' top prospect primarily slots in at shortstop, but his defensive versatility makes him a fit in multiple positions around the infield. With Cedric Mullins going on the IL and Gunnar Henderson not performing to expectations, Westburg could get the call sooner than later. Fantasy managers should stash Westburg in all league formats.
