Jordan Romano Picks Up Win In Extra Innings
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano picked up his second win of the year in the team's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. In his inning of work, Romano didn't allow a hit or a run while walking one and striking out none. The 29-year-old right-hander kept the game tied at three apiece before the Blue Jays walked it off in the bottom of the 10th inning. Romano has allowed three runs in his six innings of work so far in 2023, but he also has the two wins, four saves, three walks and seven strikeouts in his six relief appearances so far. He'll remain a high-end closing option for fantasy managers as long as he stays healthy.
