Jordan Reed Catches Just One Pass In Week 9
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end Jordan Reed was quiet in his return to action in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. Reed caught just one of his two targets for three yards in the game. Reed spent over a month on Injured Reserve with a knee injury before being activated prior to this week's game, so the minimal workload wasn't a huge surprise. With George Kittle (foot) likely out for the rest of the year, or at least most of it, Reed has a great opportunity to step into a key role for the 49ers offense. When Kittle was out in Week 2 this year, Reed exploded for seven catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns. He should be owned and stashed on benches in all leagues of 12 teams or deeper.
