New York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery (elbow) said he is making 50 throws at 90 feet and has been doing that for around three weeks. He'll throw off a mound next month and is aiming to return to big league action after the All-Star break after he had Tommy John surgery last June. The left-hander went 2-0 with a 3.62 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in just six starts before his arm injury last year. It's unknown if he'll have a rotation spot to return to in the second half this year, so he can be avoided in most fantasy drafts this spring.--Keith Hernandez
