St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a lower-body injury. He joined Kasperi Kapanen, Justin Faulk, and Isaac Ratcliffe as some notable Blues to miss Wednesday's session with various ailments. The 25-year-old has yet to play in the preseason as the club takes a cautious approach with their prized goal-scoring forward. Kyrou notched a career-high 37 goals last season, shattering his previous career high of 27 set in 2021-22, while adding 36 helpers for 73 points in 79 games. He also added a hefty 272 shots on goal, 84 more than he tallied two seasons back. He will be a focal point of the Blues' offense this season and should be the first Blues player taken in fantasy drafts this fall.--Brenton Kemp
