Jordan Howard Gets 10 Carries In Week 11

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (knee) received 10 carries in a Week 11 win, picking up 63 yards before being forced to leave with a knee injury. He did not see a target in the passing game. Even with Miles Sanders (ankle) back on the field and in the starting role, Howard still saw double digit carries and was very effective. In fact, he averaged more yards per carry than Sanders, and did not lose a fumble like Sanders did. Still, Sanders was and will remain the starter, with Howard working in the change of pace and potential goal line role. That being said, it was quarterback Jalen Hurts who scored the two goal line touchdowns for the Eagles against the Saints. Going forward, Howard will have much more value to the Eagles than to anyone's fantasy team, assuming he recovers from the knee injury that knocked him out of the game in the third quarter. If Howard is forced to miss time, Boston Scott and rookie Kenneth Gainwell figure to work more behind Sanders, but it will remain Sanders on most carries if Howard is not around.
