Jordan Hicks Can't Get an Out on Thursday
7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals rookie relief pitcher Jordan Hicks had an awful outing on Thursday, allowing three runs on three hits without getting an out. It shot his ERA up to 2.29 on the season. Hicks threw 12 pitches, eight for strikes. That's all it took for the Phillies to jump all over him for three runs. Hicks has been outperforming his peripherals, so this was a simple regression to the mean type of outing. Now is the time to sell high on Hicks in redraft leagues.
