Jonathan Williams Efficient In Week 4
2 years agoWashington Commanders running back Jonathan Williams had five carries for 48 yards in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Prior to this matchup, the 28-year-old had only one carry in Washington's first three games. But for whatever reason, Ron Rivera felt the need to further complicate this running back room by giving Williams touches in Week 4. However, the journeyman back was the most efficient runner in this backfield, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. With rookie running back Brian Robinson reentering the fold, it is unlikely that we see Williams having an expanded role, making this performance more of an anomaly.
