Vegas Golden Knights winger Jonathan Marchessault potted his third hat trick of the season on Saturday against Detroit, lifting the team to a 5-3 victory. He notched a first-period goal and tallied two goals late on in the game, posting a new franchise record for most hat tricks in a single season. Additionally, Marchessault became the second active undrafted player with at least six career hat tricks, joining the New York Rangers' Artemi Panarin. Through 64 outings, Marchessault already boasts a career-high 35 goals in 2023-24, and he's on pace for his second 70-point year, having also registered 21 assists. With Mark Stone (upper body) done for the year, Marchessault has joined Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev on the first line, and the trio worked extremely well on Saturday, combing for eight points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
