Jon Gray Pulled After Four Innings With Calf Soreness
5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray was pulled after just four innings Wednesday. Gray was feeling sore and had walked in a run before getting pulled. X-rays on his left calf showed no significant damage and the Rockies are expecting him to make his next start, according to manager Bud Black. Gray allowed just two hits, one run and struck out four batters before getting pulled against the Nationals, but he did struggle with command issues, giving up five walks in the outing. The Dodgers are on deck for his next start, assuming there are no setbacks.
