Jon Gray The First Man Up After All-Star Break
1 year agoTexas Rangers right-hander Jon Gray will open the team's second half against the Cleveland Guardians on Friday, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News. Andrew Heaney and Martin Perez will follow, getting the ball on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Gray was a decent fantasy arm during the first half, pitching to a 3.29 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with six wins across 16 starts, but struck out just 75 batters over 93 innings. Fantasy managers should keep the 31-year-old veteran on their roster for his run prevention and high win potential, but he isn't a must-start going forward.
