Jon Brown Apparently Auditioning For Other Teams
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals place kicker Jon Brown connected on a 55-yard field goal in Saturday's preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys. Despite the fact he had that impressive kick, which would have tied a franchise record if it occurred in the regular season, head coach Marvin Lewis said that the team does not have a kicking competition. That apparently means veteran Randy Bullock will open the regular season in the Queen City, while Brown is collecting tape for other organizations to mull over. Brown has a super strong leg, as is evidenced from his big kick. Bullock is overwhelmingly ranked in the bottom third of the league among fantasy options, so do your last-round drafting for a kicker on someone else.
