John Hunter Nemechek Capitalizing Off Momentum
5 months agoJohn Hunter Nemechek and his Legacy Motor Club Toyota has some hope for Sunday's Ally 400. That comes in the form of yesterday's Xfinity win. Nemechek led a race-high 76 laps and started from the 15th position. Again, Sunday is more daunting as the No. 42 car begins back in 35th. Both Legacy cars are in the back as Erik Jones qualified 34th. Nemechek did run more laps in practice and the experience during Saturday's race should help from a DFS perspective on Sunday. Nemechek projects to have positive place differential for Sunday at the least.
