John Gant Pitches Well Once Again Against The Brewers

St. Louis Cardinals starter John Gant continued his strong start to the 2021 campaign allowing zero earned runs against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. Primarily known for his funky delivery when he debuted in the big leagues, Gant has become somewhat of a fantasy breakout star so far this season. Now sporting a 1.83 ERA to go with a scary 1.63 WHIP, Gant once again found a way to make a run he allowed be unearned. This is the third start of the season where Gant has allowed a lone unearned run, but a combined three unearned runs across three starts isn't that much overall, so it's clear Gant has still performed very well. Forgotten at the back end of the Cardinals rotation, Gant remains a strong fantasy option. Slated to face the Padres in his next start, Gant is worth a look to pitching needy teams.
