John Collins Likely To Miss A Fifth Straight Game
2 days agoUtah Jazz power forward John Collins (hip) is doubtful for Utah's New Year's Day matchup against the Knicks. Collins has missed four straight games with a left-hip contusion, and he looks likely to miss a fifth. In the four games he missed, the Jazz used a variety of starting lineups, giving time to Micah Potter, Svi Mykhailiuk, Cody Williams, and Johnny Juzang. Juzang started on Monday in the last game Collins missed and had a strong outing with 14 points, four rebounds, and an assist in 23 minutes against the Nuggets. Collins' absence would also open up more usage for Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen in the front court.
