3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Joey Wendle is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Yusei Kikuchi and the Seattle Mariners. The team is going with Mike Brosseau at third base and Taylor Walls at shortstop. Wendle has slowed down a bit in June. Over the first two months of the year, he had a .302/.360/.525 slash line. So far this month, he has slashed .214/.292/.333 with 13 strikeouts over 42 at-bats. He's provided solid all-around play this year and should remain a weekly starter in most rotisserie leagues and head-to-head categories leagues going forward.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
