6 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (knee) expects to return to the lineup on Friday when the Reds host the Diamondbacks after missing two straight games for the first time since June of 2016. Votto was hit by a pitch last Saturday. "It's better," Votto said. "I hope to play. Playing every day is important." Votto is hasn't hit for much power this year but leads the National League with his .426 on-base percentage and is a must-start in all leagues if he's back in there.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
