Joey Logano has the best seat in the house for the start of the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend, as the Penske Racing driver won the pole during qualifying on Saturday by turning a lap of 29.291 seconds. He edged out Kyle Larson for the qualifying win, who is the most recent race winner at Las Vegas. Logano is no stranger to victory lane either here, though, as he has driven the No. 22 Ford to the win three times in 21 career starts in Sin City. Logano's car was definitely fast for a single lap on Saturday, but as far as speed goes for the race on Sunday, it may not be the best. Logano ranked 11th-fastest in ten-lap average during practice and he noted that the short-run speed in the car isn't great. He told PRN after qualifying, "On the long runs it's pretty good, but short runs need a little work." As far as DFS playability, Logano is a quite a risky pick considering he starts on the pole and may not have the dominant car. He also started on the pole in this race last year but led just nine laps before wrecking and finishing 36th.--Jordan McAbee
