5 months agoJoey Logano has officially joined his Team Penske teammates as a postseason driver in 2024. Logano was able to save enough after five overtimes in the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday afternoon and get his first victory of the season. When asked after the race about the gamble to stay out and not pit for fuel, as many other drivers did during the overtimes, Logano responded, "We didn't feel comfortable about it, but you go for it, and it's pretty risky when you think about where we were in the playoff grid. You really can't afford to have a bad one, but gosh, it's really hard to pit when you're in the lead and you're in position to win the race."--Jordan McAbee
