Penske Racing's Joey Logano crossed the finish line in the third position in Sunday's Season Finale 500 at Phoenix Raceway. Logano started from second but assumed the lead early as title competitor, Chase Elliott, had to start from the rear. Logano would go on to lead a ton of early laps and win the first stage of the race. After Chase Elliott got around the No. 22 for the lead, Logano would spend the rest of the race trying to get his car dialed-in to challenge Elliott. After short-pitting and coming out in front of Elliott, Logano was ultimately not able to hold off the charging No. 9. Logano would lead 125 laps, second only to Elliott, but faded to third after his teammate, Brad Keselowski, passed him on the final run.--John Pitucci - RotoBaller
