6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman Joey Gallo has been scratched from the lineup Friday after colliding with teammate Delino DeShields in the outfield during batting practice. Gallo is dealing with blurred vision. He may have to go through the concussion protocol, but we'll update you when we know more. Gallo has been a disappointment to his fantasy owners with a .192 average, but he does have 21 long balls and 48 RBI in 292 at-bats, so he remains a fantasy option in mixed leagues for his power. Ronald Guzman is starting at first base and hitting eighth against Tigers right-hander Jordan Zimmermann. Guzman is a mediocre DFS option with little upside on Friday night, and he's hitting only .222 with five dingers against righties on the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
