5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo (oblique), who is on the injured list with a strained left oblique, is hoping to be activated sometime this weekend. If Delino DeShields continues to play well in center field, Gallo is likely to return to left field. DeShields was brought back up from Triple-A Nashville on June 2 when Gallo was injured and was hitting .333 with a .417 on-base percentage in 12 games going into last Saturday. Gallo is hitting .276/.421/.653 with 17 homers, 41 runs, 41 RBI and three steals, so he needs to be owned in all leagues. He strikes out a bunch and could see his average dip, but so far this year Gallo has been much better at making contact.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
