8 months agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) scored 24 points in Tuesday's 109-105 win over OKC. Embiid went 6-for-14 from the field and 0-for-3 from behind the arc. However, the reigning MVP made up for it by sinking all 12 free-throw tries and amassing seven assists, six boards, and three steals. Despite also accumulating six turnovers, Embiid looked good, even more so for a guy who hasn't played in two months. But with Philadelphia currently a few games back from the Indiana Pacers to climb out of Play-In contention, Embiid should be on the floor for Philadelphia's remaining six regular season contests. He'll presumably increase his workload on Thursday in Miami after logging 29 minutes against the Thunder, so it shouldn't take him long to return to form.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
