2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is doubtful to play Monday against the Boston Celtics. Embiid is dealing with a sprained LCL in his knee and, despite the added rest time from their first round sweep, will likely miss their first game against the Celtics. It seems there is optimism for the center as he continues to make strides in his recovery. With Embiid likely on the sidelines, the Sixers will likely turn to Paul Reed again. Reed recorded a 10-point, 15-rebound double-double in his last spot start.--Dale Johnson
