6 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (knee) said he has not yet been cleared for Week 5 against the Dolphins but hopes to be. If he's not cleared, he will "for sure" play in Week 6 against the Steelers. It's looking like the Bengals will hold Mixon out for at least one more week to be safe. Giovani Bernard has done a great job filling in for him in the meantime and would continue to have RB1 upside if Mixon is out again this weekend. For what it's worth, The Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr. expects Mixon to return this Sunday against the Dolphins. If that happens, it's unclear how the Bengals will split the backfield between Mixon and Bernard.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
