Los Angeles Angels manager Joe Maddon has been impressed with the team's top prospect, outfielder Jo Adell, but he's pumping the brakes for anyone expecting Adell to make the team's Opening Day roster. “The guy’s high ceiling all the way around,” Maddon said. “But he has things to work on, quite frankly. Don’t be deceived by a couple well-struck balls in a spring training game, whether it’s here now or in an actual spring that we just went through.” The 21-year-old is holding his own, but he's also had some strikeouts and gaffes on defense. It seems likely that Adell will make his big league debut in 2020, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect a ton in redraft leagues during the 60-game regular season. It's unlikely that Adell will be in the big leagues to start the year unless he's starting every day.--Keith Hernandez
