Joe Ingles Picks Up Double-Double As Starter
4 years agoUtah Jazz guard/forward Joe Ingles registered a double-double as a starter in Saturday's overtime loss against the Lakers, recording 20 points on 6-for-14 shooting and handing out a season-high 14 assists. He went 6-for-12 with the three-ball and notched three rebounds and three steals with four turnovers in 39 minutes. Utah sat Mike Conley (rest) here and Ingles picked up the playmaking duties in the starting five. Conley will likely return for Monday's rematch against the Lakers, but Ingles will still be benefitting from Donovan Mitchell's (ankle) absence. Utah's next week's schedule also includes a pair of juicy matchups against Western Conference strugglers Houston and Minnesota.
