Joe Harris Agrees To Terms With Brooklyn
7 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Joe Harris has reached a $16 million agreement that will keep him with the team for the next two years. Harris saw an increase in productivity in his second season with the club, averaging 10.8 points over 78 games. After being tied to potential destinations such as Indiana, Denver, and Golden State, the fifth-year man out of the University of Virginia opted to remain with the team that appears committed to developing him into a larger role. He should continue to see at least the 25 minutes per game that he averaged during the 2018 season, but that could increase depending upon the status of forward DeMarre Carroll by the time season the begins in October.

Joe Harris Considered Doubtful Wednesday
1 year agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Joe Harris (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Grizzlies. The veteran is recovering from a shoulder sprain and will likely miss a 14th consecutive game. Having dropped 17 games in a row, the Pistons could use all the help they can get, but Harris didn't do much for the team when he was healthy. The veteran sniper struggled with his shooting and amassed only 3.4 points in 14.0 minutes. Following the season debut of Bojan Bogdanovic, Harris' hopes of carving out a meaningful role are even smaller.

Joe Harris Remains On The Sidelines Monday
1 year agoDetroit Pistons guard/forward Joe Harris (shoulder) will be absent for a 10th straight game on Monday against Washington. The veteran sniper continues to nurse a shoulder strain. Detroit traded for Harris in the offseason, but it looks like the team doesn't have big plans with him, as Harris was limited to only 14.0 minutes per game before he got hurt. He will get his next chance to return on Wednesday night versus the Lakers.

Joe Harris Could Miss Next Two Weeks
1 year agoDetroit Pistons guard Joe Harris (shoulder) was already ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game. Now, it sounds like the veteran guard is going to miss more time than expected. The team plans to shut down Harris and re-evaluate him in 10-14 days. This is not good timing with the Pistons already having Alec Burks (forearm) and Jaden Ivey (illness) ruled out for Wednesday. That means, Marcus Sasser is going to continue playing a significant role with the Pistons shorthanded. He should be a fairly reliable fantasy option while the Pistons are banged up.

Joe Harris On The Move To Detroit
2 years agoBrooklyn Nets forward Joe Harris has been dealt to the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. They're also sending two second-round picks to create a traded-player exception and more financial freedom to make some deals this offseason. They'll send a 2027 second-round pick via Dallas and a 2029 second-round pick via Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Pistons get another shooter that will hopefully get back to being at the top of the league in three-point percentage. Harris doesn't have much value fantasy-wise outside of threes.
