Joe Flacco Won't Need To Practice This Week
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that quarterback Joe Flacco (hip) won't need to practice at all this week in order to play in Week 11 against the Bengals. "I don’t know who’s going to play," Harbaugh said. "We’ll prepare all the [quarterbacks] to whatever degree we think we need to, in terms of what the plan is." Harbaugh also admitted that having mystery around who will play under center will make it tougher for the Bengals to prepare for. Flacco has 12 touchdowns and six interceptions for an 84.2 passer rating, which ranks 27th in the NFL. He has just three touchdowns and two interceptions while averaging 225.6 yards a game during their three-game losing streak. Flacco will likely be a game-time decision, but ultimately we'd expect him to play. If he does, he'll remain a mediocre QB2 option, even in a great matchup. Rookie Lamar Jackson and Robert Griffin III are other options if Flacco can't go.
