Joe Dunand Hits A Walk-Off On Wednesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins infield prospect Joe Dunand hit a walk-off home run in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the New York Mets. Dunand didn't start but ended up going 1-for-2 with a home run, a run scored and two RBI. The 25-year-old is now hitting .294 with a 1.015 OPS. Alex Rodriguez's nephew is unlikely to win a spot on the Opening Day roster, but he's showing that he can be solid minor league depth and could get the call if any Marlins infielder goes down for a significant amount of time. He's worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues with extra bench spots.
