Joe Burrow Struggles Without Ja'Marr Chase
2 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went 25 of 35 for 232 passing yards with two passing touchdowns touchdowns, one fumble lost and one interception, adding one carry for two yards in Monday night's 32-13 loss to the Browns. After posting back-to-back QB1 overall finishes the past two weeks, this was a disappointment for fantasy managers. Many were lowering their expectations, given that he was operating without top receiver Ja'Marr Chase, but no one saw this poor of an outing coming. The team was getting shut out entering the fourth quarter, creating questions about the potency of the offense and their ability to sustain scoring drives without their star receiver. Next up for the Bengals is the Panthers, who just allowed 37 points to the Falcons, and they should provide Burrow the opportunity for a bounce-back performance.
