6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has an outstanding Week 3 matchup against Kansas City. The Chiefs have allowed 876 passing yards through the first two weeks of the season, in addition to surrendering a league-worst 34 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position. Garoppolo has struggled out of the gate, ranking just 25th among all quarterbacks with 25.7 total fantasy points. However, the San Francisco signal-caller could be ready for a breakout performance. The potential return of Marquise Goodwin combined with the likelihood of a back and forth shootout are two major reasons for optimism this week. Garoppolo should be trusted as a low-end QB1 in what should be his best game of the season thus far.--Mike Dente
