5 years agoNo quarterback had a lower percentage of passes over 20 yards in 2019 than San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, according to Pro Football Focus. The Niners added wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk in the first round of last month's draft, but he's more of a run-after-the-catch prospect. The plan of short throws and long runs after the catch appears to be the plan again for Garoppolo and the offense in 2020. And under head coach Kyle Shanahan, the 49ers offense is expected to remain run-heavy, leaving Jimmy G with not a whole lot of fantasy upside. In essence, he's a glorified game manager in San Francisco, making him a low-ceiling QB2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
