Ji-Man Choi Blasts Solo Shot In Win Over Braves
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays' first baseman Ji-Man Choi went 1-for-6 with a solo home run during Friday's 7-6 win over the Braves. He took Charlie Morton deep in the fifth inning for his fourth long ball of the season. The 30-year-old is slashing .248/.371/.402 across 140 plate appearances in 2021. He is hitting .200 (5-for-25) with a homer, four RBI, and six walks over eight games in July. Choi continues to get on base and remains a strong option in OBP formats.
