Jhoulys Chacin On Track To Start Game 1 Of NLCS
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin will throw a bullpen session on Wednesday and is on his normal schedule to start in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against the Dodgers on Friday. Chacin was the team's most effective starter all year, and he held the Rockies scoreless through five innings with three walks and three strikeouts in Game 2 of the NLDS. The veteran right-hander was whooped up for eight earned runs on five hits (three homers) in just 4 1/3 innings in his lone start against LA this year. If Chacin can keep the ball in the park against the Dodgers potent offense, he has a shot. But starting any pitcher in DFS against the Blue late in the season has been a tight-rope walk.
