Jhoulys Chacin Has A 1.54 ERA In May
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin went five innings on Tuesday, giving up two hits, no runs and four walks while striking out six in the 1-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Chacin had trouble with the walks, but overall delivered a very solid game once again for the Brewers. After starting the year with a 10.80 ERA in March, Chacin has pitched with excellence in May with a 1.54 ERA, 1-0 record and 22 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings pitched. On the entire year, he now owns a 3.32 ERA, 3-1 record and 42 strikeouts in 57 innings pitched. He should now be owned in deeper formats and makes for a very solid streaming candidate in his next projected start against the New York Mets on May 27.
