Jevon Carter Explodes For Career-High 36 Points
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Jevon Carter took over the starting role on Wednesday night and didn't disappoint. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday both out, the 27-year-old stepped up and led the Bucks to a 136-132 win double-overtime. Carter finished the game with 36 points, 12 assists, four rebounds, and one steal while shooting 15-for-27 from the floor and 5-for-10 from beyond the arc. He's getting plenty of minutes off of the bench this season, so if any guards in the starting lineup are out, he's a great pickup as a streaming option if he's available.

Jevon Carter Declines His Player Option
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Jevon Carter has declined his $2.24 million player option and will hit the open market. The 27-year-old finally made a breakthrough in the league last season and is now looking to secure a good contract. Carter averaged 8.0 points with 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Bucks in 2022-23, shooting over 42 percent from three-point range. He has also proven himself as a good defender. Considering his skillset, the West Virginia product should draw plenty of attention in free agency.

Jevon Carter Expected To Play Sunday
2 years agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Jevon Carter (knee) is expected to play Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Carter was questionable coming into the contest with knee soreness, but has been cleared to play and should resume his normal role off the bench. Carter has carved out a solid role in reserve, proving to be a key player in Milwaukee's second unit. If Carter is limited in any capacity, Jae Crowder, Wesley Matthews and Joe Ingles should see increased minutes.

Jevon Carter Likely To Sign With Bucks
3 years agoFree-agent guard Jevon Carter is expected to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. He was recently waived by the Brooklyn Nets to make room for Goran Dragic. Carter clears waivers on Wednesday and is expected to join the Bucks roster. He should immediately make an impact in Milwaukee with the Bucks roster being banged up. Carter doesn't have tremendous upside, but did show flashes during his time with Brooklyn. Fantasy managers should wait and see with Carter since it's uncertain how he'll impact the roster.
