Jets Haven't Received Much Interest In No. 2 Pick
4 years agoThe New York Jets have received few phone calls and very little interest for the No. 2 overall selection in this year's draft, according to a source. It could be because everyone thinks that the Jets will stick with the second overall pick and take their quarterback of the future. The Jets traded away former No. 3 overall pick Sam Darnold on Monday, likely signaling that they are gearing up to take a signal-caller at No. 2. The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to take Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence at No. 1 overall. Most mock drafts have the Jets pegged to take BYU quarterback Zach Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick. It would be a shock if the Jets traded out of the spot, but it's still interesting given how much the Miami Dolphins got in return for moving out of the No. 3 pick.
